AL-MEHDI MATCH MAKERS plc Addis Ababa - ETHIOPIA (AMMplc) AMMplc a Private Limited Company established in 2003 with a Paid-up Capital of US$ 1.45Millions. The Company is engaged in Manufacturing Safety Matches in Ethiopia mainly for local market. Now we also Export Safety Matches to SUDAN We use German and Japanese Machines for Manufacturing Safety Matches. Semi automatic technology is intentionally used to employ maximum number of workers. We presently employ almost 700 permanent workers. In April 2004, we started production at rented factory in Kality. 9,175 Sq. meters land was acquired from Government at Dukem Industry Zone. Keeping in view future expansion plans, factory building was specially designed on about 4,200Sq. meters and the construction was completed in 2009. Initial Annual Production Capacity is increased from 90 million Match Boxes (2004) to 300 million Match Boxes in 2014. |
