AL-MEHDI INDUSTRIES PLC (AMI plc) was established in 2004 in the Dukem Industrial Zone, Ethiopia. The company manufactures warp/tricot, Raschel, and circular knit fabrics and finished garments, with a total production capacity of 250,000 kg per month across all fabric types.

The facility employs over 700 workers and operates an in-house quality laboratory with DataColor spectrophotometers, automatic dispensers, and lap dip dyeing machines, ensuring consistent shade matching and colour control for export-grade output.

Ethiopia's First Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant

AMI plc constructed Ethiopia's first wastewater treatment facility compliant with the standards of the Ethiopian Environment Protection Authority, demonstrating long-term commitment to responsible manufacturing.
